COMMUNITY IMPACT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM - FALL 2026 APPLICATION

The Community Impact Leadership Program is a fall-term experience for a small cohort of TU students who want to explore leadership and career paths rooted in community change. Over the semester you'll learn directly from alumni leading across education, nonprofit, public sector, and business, and spend time on-site seeing that work up close.

This application is short and there are no wrong answers. We're not looking for polished résumés or the "right" experience; we want to understand what pulls you toward this work and whether the program fits your fall. Give yourself about 10 minutes, and write like yourself.

Applications are due by EOD October 1, 2026. Questions? Reach out to Katie Choby at katie.choby@teachforamerica.org

PROGRAM COMMITMENT
This program asks for real presence over the semester — showing up is what makes the cohort and the experience work. Before you apply, know what you're committing to:
  • The program runs roughly September 8 – December 8, 2026, and will meet mostly in person with your cohort.

  • Sessions include site visits (education, nonprofit/public sector, and business) arranged through TU's Career Caravan, and on-campus discussions.

  • The semester closes with a reflection session on your own leadership pathway.
